LEGACY BASSET HOUNDS

Basset Hound Puppies born on March 9th, 2026, 7 boys and 2 girls. Puppies are from amazing show lines.

Puppies have been health tested for Lafora and have health certificate from Orivet Genetic.

Shelby, the dam, is an AKC Champion of record. Shelby is health tested, Thrombopathia-Clear, Dystrophic Epidermolsis Bullosa-Clear, Primary Open Angle Glaucoma-Clear, Lafora-Carrier, and Combined Immunodeficiency Disease X-inked-Clear.  

Bentley, the sire, is an AKC Platinum Grand Champion of record. Bentley is health-tested and clear on all tests.

AKC limited registration, non-show/pet-quality puppy: $2800-$3200. On occasion, we may offer a show-quality puppy to the right show home. Legacy's puppies are sold as companion puppy with a Limited AKC Registration (spay-and-neuter contract), a veterinarian-examined health certificate, microchipped, a copy of a 4-generation pedigree, and age-appropriate shots and deworming

Our puppies are well socialized from birth and raised in a nurturing home environment with our family. Puppies are usually ready for their new homes around 9 -12 weeks of age. Transport can be arranged at an additional expense using a puppy flight nanny.
